The Dormer DIN 844 K long hole cutter is a high-precision tool specifically designed for milling long holes in various materials. With a nominal diameter of 4.5 mm and a cutting length of 11 mm, this cutter is ideal for applications in structural steel, carbon steel, copper, and their alloys, as well as for iron-based, nickel-based, and cobalt-based high-temperature resistant alloys. The cutter is manufactured according to the DIN 844 K standard and features a 6 mm Weldon shank, ensuring secure attachment in the machine. The uncoated HSSE-PM steel alloy provides high wear resistance and durability. With a helix angle of 30° and a rake angle of 12°, this cutter is optimally suited for shoulder milling, slot milling, and ramp milling. The combination of three cutting edges allows for efficient material removal and ensures clean cutting edges.
