The Dormer C492 DIN 844 L end mill is a highly advanced tool designed for precise milling operations in various materials. With a nominal diameter of 14 mm and a cutting length of 53 mm, this end mill offers optimal performance for shoulder and slot milling. Its construction from HSS-E-PM and the special Alcrona coating provide increased wear resistance and durability. The end mill features an uneven helix and an HRA cord profile, which enhance efficiency in material removal. With a helix angle of 35° and a rake angle of 12°, this end mill is ideal for machining carbon steel, alloyed and tool steel, stainless steel, cast iron, as well as copper and its alloys.
