Product details

Coltogum modelling sealant is a ready-to-use, solvent-free sealant with a polyisobutylene base. It is characterised by its plastic-mouldable and self-adhesive properties, making it a versatile solution for various sealing requirements. This 1K sealant remains permanently elastic and resistant to ageing, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Application is uncomplicated: The compound can simply be kneaded and moulded into the desired shape to effectively seal cracks, holes or pipe penetrations. It adheres to many materials and is particularly useful in areas such as plumbing, electrical, glass construction and vehicle construction. It can also be used as an assembly aid for adhesives or to delimit insulating foams. The modelling sealant is thermoplastic, which means that it behaves at different temperatures: it becomes harder when cold and softer when warm.
