CMT Hollow radius cutter

If a workpiece requires a special edge, one should be able to choose with maximum freedom. The hollow CMT radius cutters offer an enormous selection of profiles, recommended for edge parts and visible furniture edges. Lower the tool so that the straight part of the cutting head is visible: this adds a decorative touch to the edges of tables, drawers, and beams. Perform the cut twice in succession (rotate the wood for the second pass) and you can immediately create the double radius edge without needing to use another round cutter. The hollow radius cutters with cutouts use a smaller guide bearing compared to the hollow radius cutters, resulting in a stronger concavity along the lower cutting part. CMT offers a selection of thirteen radius sizes, most of which come with five different shanks. Each cutter features a micro-grain carbide structure.
