The BXPPABSG300400220-F01 BOXEXPERT from the Fleet series is a wall-mounted cabinet housing made of ABS plastic with a 2-point locking mechanism, perfectly suited for both indoor and outdoor use. It is easy to handle and very quick to install. The Fleet series is a cost-effective alternative to all steel sheet cabinets.

Steel cabinets are often expensive to purchase and have a high weight. Both the logistical effort and handling often lead to additional work. In many cases, steel cabinets can be avoided in EMC-critical applications. The Fleet series cabinets from BOXEXPERT offer a cost-effective plastic alternative. The wall cabinet housing is made of very lightweight acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), resulting in a weight reduction of about 50% for the same housing size. Despite the lower mass, the Fleet housing series proves to be a robust alternative with an impact resistance of IK08. ABS plastic has a high resistance to alkalis, oils, and salts. Unlike metal cabinets, the Fleet series has the advantage of being resistant to corrosive stresses without requiring additional coating of the housing surface.

Outdoor use requires effective sealing of the electronic components against external influences. The plastic housings of the Fleet series feature a foamed polyurethane (PU) seal. The PUR seal is low-wear and robust against weather and aging effects. The polyurethane remains elastic and resilient even with frequent operation of the cabinet door. In addition to the properties of ABS plastic, the housing seal also ensures a protection rating of IP65. This makes the housing suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
