The BXPPABSG300400220-F01 BOXEXPERT from the Fleet series is a wall-mounted enclosure made of ABS plastic with a 2-point locking system, making it perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is easy to handle and can be installed very quickly. The Fleet series is a cost-effective alternative to all steel sheet wall cabinets.

Steel cabinets are often expensive to purchase and have a high weight. Both the logistical effort and handling often lead to additional work. In many cases, steel cabinets can be avoided in EMC-critical applications. The Fleet series cabinets from BOXEXPERT provide a cost-effective plastic alternative. The wall-mounted enclosure is made of very lightweight acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer (ABS), resulting in a weight savings of about 50% for the same enclosure size. Despite the lower mass, the Fleet enclosure series proves to be a robust alternative with an impact resistance of IK08. ABS plastic exhibits high resistance to alkalis, oils, and salts. Unlike metal cabinets, the Fleet series has the advantage of being resistant to corrosive influences without the need for additional surface coatings.

Outdoor use requires effective sealing of the electronic components against external influences. The plastic enclosures of the Fleet series feature a foamed polyurethane (PU) seal. The PUR seal is low-wear and robust against weathering and aging. The polyurethane remains elastic and resilient even with frequent operation of the cabinet door. In addition to the properties of ABS plastic, the enclosure seal also ensures an enclosure protection rating of IP65. This makes the enclosure suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
