The BXPPABSG200300130-F01 BOXEXPERT from the Fleet series is a wall-mounted enclosure made of ABS plastic with a single-point locking mechanism, making it perfectly suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. It is easy to handle and very quick to install. The Fleet series offers a cost-effective alternative to all steel sheet enclosures.

Steel sheet enclosures are often expensive to purchase and have a high weight. This frequently leads to additional logistical efforts and handling challenges. In many cases, steel sheet cabinets can be avoided in EMC-sensitive applications. The Fleet series enclosures from BOXEXPERT provide a cost-effective plastic alternative. The wall-mounted enclosure is made of very lightweight Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene copolymer (ABS), resulting in a weight reduction of about 50% for the same enclosure size. Despite the lower mass, the Fleet series shows itself to be a robust alternative with an impact resistance rating of IK08. ABS plastic has a high resistance to alkalis, oils, and salts. Unlike metal enclosures, the Fleet series has the advantage of being resistant to corrosive stresses without requiring additional coating of the enclosure surface.

The use in outdoor areas particularly requires effective sealing of the electronic components against external influences. The plastic enclosures of the Fleet series feature a foam-sealed polyurethane (PU) gasket. The PUR gasket is low-wear and robust against weathering and aging effects. Polyurethane also remains elastic and resilient even with frequent operation of the enclosure door. In addition to the properties of ABS plastic, the enclosure gasket ensures an enclosure protection rating of IP65. This makes the enclosure suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
