Socket with protective contact, 2-fold horizontal with hinged cover, IP55. Designed for horizontal installation, pre-wired inserts with terminal blocks, featuring one entry for two cables and one entry for a cable or conduit. The upper and lower cable entries are arranged laterally, making them particularly suitable for installation next to door frames or similar structures. Two additional lateral cable entries make installation over workbenches especially convenient. Full surface sealing under the housing base to seal the back of the enclosure, with a self-closing hinged cover that can be manually locked to achieve protection class IP55. Easily accessible funnel-shaped mounting holes in the housings. A Wago 2-wire connection terminal is included for wiring, with two snap-in places for Wago 2-wire connection terminals in the housing base, providing ample space for wiring under the inserts' bases (hollow base). Easy installation of the insert in the housing by snapping in, secure fixation of the frame to the housing via a bayonet quick-release mechanism. Connection terminals according to VDE 0620, design DIN 49440. Housing screws and hinged cover springs made of stainless steel. Surface-mounted installation.
