The Alre-it Sauna control unit Hygrotherm VU is an electronic control unit for sauna bathing, either Finnish (dry) or Hygro (wet). Temperature and humidity can be adjusted continuously depending on the desired sauna type. The unit features switches for light, fan, and heating, as well as a pre-selection timer (maximum 12 hours) and indicator lights for on/off. It includes indicator lights for on/off, dry, Hygro, heating phases of the stove, and heating phase of the steam generator. The unit also has low water detection and an acoustic low water alarm, sensor break and short circuit protection, as well as a heating time limitation (6h/12h/no limit). There is a connection for an external on/off switch.

The automatic after-run dry heating (60°C to 80°C, max. 3.5h) with fan activation prevents mold formation. A temperature sensor with a safety temperature limiter (141°C) and a 3m silicone cable are included. A load extension is possible with the power switching device. Light, fan, and internal electronics are separately fused.
