Alfa Forni Throttle Valve, Ø 130 mm

The throttle valve insert from Alfa speeds up the heating of the oven and maintains a constant temperature in the combustion chamber. With this simple yet practical accessory, the airflow in the baking chamber can be manually adjusted.

Application: For installation, it is simply inserted through the hole in the dome of your pizza oven. Once the flue is positioned above the throttle valve insert, the wood or gas oven can be ignited immediately. Just turn the knob on the insert to position the valve either vertically or horizontally. When the valve is fully closed, it seals the insert and partially blocks the airflow. This allows the pizzaiolo to decide whether and when to accelerate the oven's heating. Once the operating temperature is reached, closing the valve helps retain heat in the oven. This function is particularly useful for keeping the heat in the baking chamber consistent. Additionally, the Alfa valve knob is equipped with a practical indicator, allowing you to easily see whether the valve is open or closed.
