Fibreglass was used in the toe protection area. This makes the shoe comparatively lightweight yet robust. It goes without saying that the shoes are not only waterproof, but also water-repellent and fulfil the ESD standard EN 61340-5-1, which also reliably protects the wearer from electrostatic charge.
