    Surveillance cameras for the home.

Hello Forum Community, I have decided to equip my flat with surveillance cameras. Data protection and privacy are very important to me, so I don't know what the best solution is for my limited budget. I don't want any hidden subscriptions because, as I mentioned, I favour data protection and privacy and don't want to give my data to Google. Are there any companies that are data protection compliant and do not collect and/or resell data? What is necessary for me to be able to carry out 24/7 recording with high resolution, sound, motion detection, day&night? If I were to move house, I would like to be able to take the cameras with me and reinstall them. I was thinking of 2-3 cameras, maximum 4 - if I move, more depending on where I move to. Thanks in advance for your help.

Integrate live camera image into website (via URL)

I am looking for a simple network camera with which I can simply integrate the live image into my website via URL. Are there any cameras that support this? Without additional server infrastructure, etc.? I only have an Android tablet and a WIFI router (via SIM card) on site. The aim is to show customers whether our shop is open or not.

    PoE network camera

I am looking for an outdoor PoE camera. I have set the appropriate filters at GALAXUS. However, when cameras appear in the selection that show a second (most likely power) connection in addition to the RJ-45 connection, I'm not sure whether these are really PoE cameras. Or is the second connection optional? (Examples: Reolink RLC-1010A, Amaryllo, Dahua Net Camera,...)

Network camera with certain features wanted.

Hello, We are looking for network cameras (initially one, then 4-8) with the following features: - PoE (we are flexible regarding standard, switch will be procured later) - Suitable for outdoor use, basically weatherproof (covered area available) - Night vision capability (for 24/7 operation) - Local network as storage type, ideally on existing NAS or a network path (cloud as backup to NAS, independent of product/camera) - Motion detector (immediate recording when motion is detected) Human, animal or car detection or differentiation is not necessary, the main thing is that recording takes place. Alarms, signals or floodlights are also irrelevant. Does not have to be capable of 4k resolution, simply recognisable. Does anyone know of reasonably priced products that could help us? Has anyone had very good experience that they can recommend products? In the past, we also had wi-fi cameras with a rechargeable battery and memory card. We are no longer looking for that. Good app or web access would be great, it is important that the operation runs smoothly. We would be grateful for any recommendations, hints and tips. Happy new year!

Outdoor camera with iCloud or Google Cloud and/or local network

Hello everyone. I've been looking for a long time and haven't found anything. I'm looking for an outdoor camera that can save the streams in the Apple or Google cloud. I already pay there and I don't want to pay for another cloud. Alternatively, storage on an HDD in the network would also be an option. Who knows anything? Many thanks for your help.

The camera works, but ...... There is no indication that you need to buy another Apple device to record videos. I don't know what to do with this camera!

Surveillance cameras for the home, but please without hidden (subscription) costs

Hello everyone, I installed the Arlo VMS3430 camera set at home a few years ago. At the beginning everything was ok, but since they started charging subscription costs, I've had a pretty bad feeling about it. However, as there are always night creatures out and about on my forecourt, I accepted the subscription costs and also installed an Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight camera. Unfortunately, the floodlight camera doesn't catch the people early enough and only records the last few seconds - perhaps this is because the camera is too far away (approx. 7 metres). And without a plan, I have absolutely no access to the camera recordings. Who can please help me and give me good surveillance cameras so that I can monitor my house all around, preferably access the recordings and live broadcasts via app - even in different places - and don't have to accept any hidden (subscription) costs?

Outdoor network camera with normal lens for internet webcam

I would like to set up and operate a public Internet webcam / weather cam. I am looking for an outdoor network camera with a WiFi connection. Most cameras are intended more for security purposes and don't have great image quality or a wide angle (aperture angle 70 to 80 degrees). For my "subject", however, I need a normal lens (equivalent to full-frame 50mm) with an aperture angle of approx. 40 to 50 degrees. Does anyone have any good recommendations or even their own experience?

    Surveillance camera for letterbox

Hello, I think my neighbour is stealing my mail. I need a camera that is small, registers when a hand is put in the letterbox slot and has night vision and a motion detector. It should run on a rechargeable battery or batteries. The letterbox is several floors away from my flat in a block of flats, so it's far away from the WLAN. Would something like this still work?

Unifi cameras from the G5 series....Or another one?

Good morning I have started to "cover" my property at the entrance to my house with a first G5 Bullet (Normal) on a Cloudkey UCK-G2_Plus because I had "unwanted" human visitors at night who had helped themselves to my fruits and vegetables from my garden The G5 Bullet has already convinced me very much - now I would like to cover a section around my house with another camera covering an area of approx. 8m by approx. 12m (and on the other side the neighbour's property begins with a wall approx. 1.5m high). My idea would be to install a G5 dome at a height of approx. 3m in the centre of this area on the façade. But the question arises as to whether this camera could "cover" this area to a greater or lesser extent. Or would it be better to install 2 bullets at each corner of this area so that the respective side can be seen? The camera would be exposed to the rain. Or does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions? There is also the G5 Flex or the AI 360 ?) I would be very grateful for your experiences so that I can learn from them. Best regards Rob

Wlan camera with push button output

I would like to monitor my garage. And if my son forgets to close the door or it opens again due to an obstacle, I can close it using the app on my mobile phone. The camera doesn't need a high resolution or a battery, just WiFi and a switch or button output that I can operate remotely from my mobile. Do you have any recommendations?

    Country of Origin

I don't want to buy electronics made in China, especially those for home security. I don't see country of origin in your specifications. Why not add this and let us filter on it in our searches?

    TP-Link and Tapo network cameras

Hello Community I found TP-Link and Tapo network cameras at Digitcx, which are from the manufacturer TP-Link. Can anyone confirm that these two cameras can be managed via an identical app? Because certain cameras are connected via PoE Lankkabel and the Tapo cameras mostly via WLAN. If so, which app is the right one? Can several participants access the cameras via the app? I look forward to a clarifying answer. Thank you very much.

    eufy network camera scandal

Since Digitec sells eufy cameras, I would like to know if they are aware of the data protection scandal surrounding these cameras: https://twitter.com/Paul_Revie... It doesn't get much worse than this! The right reaction from Digitec would be to immediately remove the products from the range and to inform the affected customers and offer them a return of the products. I don't think any customer would want to have such a product at home! I hope for a reaction from Digitec.

    Surveillance camera

Hello I am looking for a camera with which I can monitor places on my model railway that are not visible. Preferably directly with a monitor. The quality does not necessarily have to be extremely high. Which camera is suitable for this?
