Question about Ocean Drive X9 MAX
Is this scooter approved in Switzerland? There is actually the same version with the same specs for 70 francs more, and the more expensive version is approved.
This is the EU model: 550W rated power 1100W peak power, 48V 20.8Ah 1000Wh battery, 25 km/h.
For comparison the CH model: 500W rated power 850W peak power, 36V 20.8Ah 750Wh battery, 20km/h.
According to our clarification with the manufacturer, this scooter is not permitted on Swiss roads, as it travels at a speed of 25 km/h.
Maybe the EU version has 550 W (48 V) motor power and the CH version 500 W (36 V)? Both have the same battery capacity.
