Question about Micro Merlin II

I received the Merlin2 today. So far everything is OK, except for the folding. Does it really need that much force in the feet or why does nothing happen? According to the description, you should stand on the lever at the bottom front and push the handlebars down at the same time. I've tried it several times without success.

Hello Bernhardmoser1. The whole thing is a bit fiddly. You have to try out how it works best. With my Merlin2, I first have to push the handlebars back a little, hold the pressure and then operate the foot lever almost simultaneously. I also have to try from time to time. I keep the brake pulled so that it's easier to push the handlebars. You can also push the front wheel against a wall or something to make it easier.

Unfortunately, folding is very bad on this device. I had the opposite problem: I unfolded the scooter, the handlebars were not properly attached because the click of the mechanism is not clear. Then the handlebars folded in during a descent. With the Merlin II, you are guaranteed to scrape your knees!
