E-scooters that are not authorised for use on Swiss roads. Am I allowed to ride such e-scooters on the pavement, or do I have to ride them on the pavement? I assume that the same lane applies to authorised vehicles as to bicycles, is that correct?

Non-authorised e-scooters may only be ridden on private property or in specially designated areas.
Authorised e-scooters may be ridden where bicycles are ridden. They are not permitted on pavements.
