The rim shape of the Zipp 808 NSW Tubeless wheelset for disc brakes integrates wider tubeless tires aerodynamically – all within a 82 mm high rim designed for the most performance-oriented road bike category. The advantages of the tubeless system include superior puncture protection, the ability to ride at lower air pressures for increased comfort, while benefiting from enhanced corner grip and reduced rolling resistance. Additionally, there is a wider selection of tires and improved braking performance from disc brakes. The 808 NSW Tubeless wheels for disc brakes are optimized for asphalt and work aerodynamically best with 25 mm tires. Because the patented ABLC™-Sawtooth™ structure can be applied from the crest to the horn on disc brake rims, the NSW disc rims offer a higher vortex shedding frequency and the best crosswind stability in their class. The wheels are designed for tubeless use but can also be used with tubes. The new decor design makes these wheels as stylish as they are fast.
