Woolpower 400 Zip Turtleneck Unisex

Long-sleeved shirt with a small stand-up collar and a short zipper for ventilation. The turtleneck is made from fine merino wool using a circular knitting process. It features excellent insulation properties and keeps you warm even when damp and in extremely cold temperatures. These thicker garments are designed as a mid-layer to optimize thermal insulation between the "next-to-skin" functional underwear and the outer layer, which is worn for protection against wind and moisture. They are particularly useful in lower temperatures or during less intense activities. It is a knitted terry fabric, with one side being smooth and the other consisting of terry loops. The airy terry loops combined with the crimp structure of the wool create a knit that traps a lot of air, resulting in very good insulation. The thicker the layer of air next to the body, the less body heat can escape.
