Woolpower 400 Zip Turtleneck Unisex

Long-sleeved shirt with a small stand-up collar and a short zipper for ventilation. The turtleneck is made from fine merino wool using a circular knitting process. It has excellent insulation properties and keeps you warm even when wet and in extremely cold temperatures. These thicker garments are designed as a mid-layer to optimize thermal insulation between the close-fitting functional underwear and the outer layer, which protects against wind and moisture. They are particularly useful in lower temperatures or during less intense activities. It is made from knitted terry cloth, with one side being smooth and the other consisting of terry loops. The airy terry loops combined with the crimped structure of the wool create a jersey knit that traps a lot of air, resulting in very good insulation. The thicker the layer of air next to the body, the less body heat can escape.
