A lightweight, compact, and versatile ascender.

The Ropeman 4 is the latest innovative development of Wild Country's original ascender. This compact rope clamp covers a wide range of applications, including emergency and self-rescue, ascents, self-belay, and setting up connections. It is designed for various rope diameters, works with flat and tubular webbing slings, and is compatible with HMS and oval carabiners. The strong stainless steel wire is coated with durable plastic for safe and easy handling. The new cam-pin system features a special notch for guiding the rope and maintaining its position. Due to its compact, lightweight design, the Ropeman 4 can always be carried on the harness. An essential part of safety equipment for vertical adventures.

  • Stainless steel wire (tested load capacity 2 kN) with plastic coating for safe handling
  • Notched cam keeps the rope in the desired position
  • Compatible with EN492 standard ropes
  • Compatible with HMS and oval carabiners (EN 12275)
  • Standard: EN 567, UIAA 126 * Slings EN 566 10-15 mm (Caution! Special application, not covered by standard EN 567, not for fall protection use). Not to be used for simple belay lines.
