Extremely lightweight ski touring gaiters made from silicone-coated ripstop Cordura with a continuous side zipper and adjustable strap. Cordura is highly abrasion-resistant, making it ideal for backpacks and clothing. In stress tests, Cordura withstands tearing, tensile, and abrasion forces better than any other comparable material. It is ten times more durable than cotton fabric, three times more durable than standard polyester, and twice as durable as standard nylon. The Bluesign-certified fabric indicates that the product meets the world's strictest standards for environmental protection, consumer safety, and occupational health. All environmentally relevant production aspects are critically reviewed and continuously optimized, including material use, energy, water, wastewater, emissions, noise, waste, and handling of hazardous substances. Products made from Bluesign-certified fabric consist of at least 90% Bluesign-certified materials.
