Extremely lightweight ski touring gaiters made from silicone-coated ripstop Cordura with a full-length side zipper and adjustable strap. Cordura is an exceptionally abrasion-resistant outer material used in backpacks and clothing. In stress tests, Cordura withstands tearing, tensile, and abrasion forces better than any other comparable material. It is ten times more durable than cotton fabric, three times more durable than standard polyester, and twice as durable as standard nylon. The Bluesign-certified fabric represents compliance with the world's strictest standards regarding environmental protection, consumer safety, and occupational safety. All environmentally relevant production aspects are critically reviewed and continuously optimized, including material usage, energy, water, wastewater, emissions, noise, waste, and handling of hazardous substances. Products made from at least 90% Bluesign-certified materials bear this label.
