Modern variant of the traditional chain whip. The pins on the tool engage with the smallest sprocket of the cassette and hold it securely, while the central opening allows easy access to the cassette tool. The version for sprockets with 11 and 12 teeth has longer pins on the 12-tooth side. This makes it suitable for cassettes where the two smallest sprockets have 10 and 12 teeth. When removing cassette sets where the smallest sprocket has 10 teeth, the tool reaches over this sprocket and engages with the 12-tooth sprocket.
