Aluminium is a lightweight material characterized by fast and even heat distribution, which avoids burning in the middle of the frying pan. Ultralight aluminium is 50% stronger than conventional aluminium, meaning that a smaller amount of material is required during production, making the storm cookers lighter.

Hard anodising increases the scratch and wear resistance and corrosion resistance of storm cookers. This surface treatment also makes the stoves easier to clean compared to conventional stoves. Due to its excellent properties, this material replaces both titanium and duossal cookers.

Non-stick is a coating particularly suitable for frying with little or no fat. Nothing burns, which additionally facilitates cleaning. Non-stick is slightly more sensitive to scratches and wear; therefore, it is recommended to use only plastic or wooden cutlery. The coating, originally developed by NASA, shows high heat resistance and low friction.
