The Z Lite mattresses are Therm-a-Rest's lightest and most compact closed-cell mattresses, and to this day, they are the favorite mattresses of all outdoor enthusiasts who want to travel with extremely little luggage. Both the Z Lite SOL and the original Z Lite feature a compact accordion-style shape and heat-retaining ridges. The Z Lite SOL also has the reflective ThermaCapture coating, which retains radiant heat and increases overall temperature by about 20%. Therm-a-Rest's proprietary foams are softer on top for added comfort and denser on the bottom for extra durability.
