The olive head bridle features a fixed ring. The sides should be positioned about one centimeter closer to the corners of the mouth than with a bridle that has a movable ring. The olive head bridle prevents the corners of the mouth from being pinched by the rings. The horse cannot lift the bit with its tongue, allowing the central link to remain calmer in the mouth and providing some lateral stabilization. Since the ring does not rotate, there is a slightly more direct effect with a mild influence on the neck. However, the difference compared to a bridle with a movable ring is hardly noticeable for the horse or most riders. The double-jointed central link of Level 2 distributes pressure more directly on the tongue and molars. The olive head bridle offers slight lateral stabilization and guidance, creating calmness and stability in the horse's mouth. The Sweet Copper with its sweet taste is particularly well accepted by horses and encourages chewing.
