The handcrafted classic from Thun, known as Käferli or Gubler spoon, is available in a weighted version for casting in lakes and rivers or an unweighted version for trolling. It is common to add a nuggi, twister, or similar lure to the hook. Many also swear by garnishing the Käferli with a few meat maggots.
