Product details

The Stuby Short features a short right side for twist grip shifters (e.g., Rohloff, Nexus, Alfine). While inner bar ends bring the hands inward, improving aerodynamics on long and straight stretches, the classic bar ends of the Stuby grips have the advantage that when climbing, pulling on the outside of the handlebars can transfer more power to the pedals. This applies both when standing and sitting. Nevertheless, on long and straight routes, the strain on the hands, shoulders, and neck can be altered and reduced by gripping the bar ends. This is where the significant advantage of the Stuby shape comes in: the bar ends can be gripped very far back due to their unique form, resulting in a more upright back position. At the same time, the Stuby bar end can also be gripped like traditional bar ends, giving a slightly sportier seating position. Thus, the Stuby grip offers many different gripping options despite its compact design. The delivery includes a pair of grips.
