Buddy is a lightweight and compact tube rappel/belay device. It is suitable for all sport climbers and can be used with ropes ranging from 7.8 to 11 mm in diameter. When rappelling, the Buddy Tube operates very smoothly, quickly brakes a falling climber, and releases the rope fluidly without getting stuck. It provides good heat distribution during rappelling and can be used in two different modes (rappel modes).
