With the brand new ICE shoe, SIMOND offers a model perfectly adapted for ice climbing and mixed mountaineering in winter. The ICE features a double Habu closure, allowing for separate adjustments of the upper and lower parts of the foot. Thinsulate provides excellent thermal insulation and is protected by a waterproof gaiter.

The ICE has been specifically designed for ice climbing. To best meet this need, we aimed for a lightweight shoe that offers maximum freedom of movement at the ankle while still providing a good level of support and protection. You will also appreciate the flexibility of the shaft during demanding ascents.

• Aluminum-coated insole to enhance thermal insulation
• SMARTLITE TPU coating of the shoe for an excellent balance of durability and lightness
• Integrated carbon in the midsole for good stiffness

The ICE shoe comes with a 1 mm thick midsole located beneath the insole. Removing the midsole increases the shoe's volume by about half a shoe size.
