The new Kairiki 8 Shimano is the updated version of the original Kairiki, which continues to be manufactured in Japan. It features a braiding technology called VT Construction Method. This PE braid is very strong and smooth, allowing for greater casting distances. It is available in diameters ranging from 0.06 mm to 0.42 mm, with the latter having a maximum load capacity of 46.7 kg. The Kairiki 8 is ideal for spinning, both in freshwater and saltwater, as it is very sensitive, smooth, and quiet. In addition to the colors Green (Mantis Green) and Grey (Steel Grey), it is now also available in Yellow (very noticeable) and Multicolor (for deep-sea fishing). The Kairiki 8 is an excellent choice for jigging, as it has low water resistance and an elasticity of less than 3%.
