Sea To Summit Ultralight

The Ultra Light range consists of a single layer construction with medium resolution, making it Sea to Summit's lightest sleeping mat with the smallest pack volume. Nevertheless, it offers the comfort of the Sea to Summit Air Jump Cells.

Exkin Platinum is a super lightweight, noiseless material with a thin metallic surface. Exkin Platinum Thermal technology reflects radiated heat back to the user, while the Thermolite insulation, designed for maximum performance, is made from special fibres that offer a high CLO value at a low weight. Thermolite HL-1 High Loft insulation is a textile fibre filler made from unique 3D crimped, solid and hollow core fibres that combine exceptional lightness and warmth with outstanding durability. The Thermolite insulation is distributed within the Air Sprung Cells to prevent heat loss through convection from the warm body to the ground. To achieve the best possible effect, a combination of Exkin Platinum and Thermolite is used in all versions of the insulated sleeping mat.

The TPU coating is applied in a special way that was previously used exclusively in the medical and aviation industries. In addition, an antimicrobial treatment has been integrated into the TPU to prevent the growth of mould inside the mat.

A 40D ripstop nylon material has been developed for the surfaces of the mats, providing the ideal blend of weight and durability. On the inside is a bright white TPU that makes the material airtight and weldable. On the outside, a thin PU film is applied to make the surface non-slip, protect it from punctures and facilitate repairs with self-adhesive patches.
