Product details
In off-road conditions, the rule is: the lower the air pressure, the better the performance, but at the same time, the risk of pinch flats increases. The threshold has so far been around 1.5 Bar; below that, it's hardly advisable to ride standard MTB tires. With Procore, this is a thing of the past: in the future, tire pressure can be controlled through dual chambers. The outer chamber has extremely low air pressure - optimal for maximum off-road performance. In the inner chamber, directly on the rim, the air pressure is high - even under maximum loads, pinch flats cannot reach the rim edge. At the same time, the inner high-pressure system secures the tire on the rim. "Burping," the dreaded air loss at low pressure in conventional tubeless systems, is eliminated. The advantages at a glance: tire pressure can be reduced to 1 Bar, resulting in tremendous grip. Even in the roughest terrain, the tires "stick" to the ground. The tire reacts as a suspension extremely sensitively. The added damping and traction provide significantly better control over the bike. The end of pinch flat risk. The rims are also extremely well protected against dents. Even in tough conditions, significantly lighter tires can be used. In case of a flat: excellent emergency running properties due to the inner high-pressure air chamber. Inflation is done via a special Presta valve. You can use Procore with any tubeless-compatible MTB tire.
