In off-road conditions, the rule is: Lowering the air pressure improves performance, but it also increases the risk of pinch flats. The threshold is currently around 1.5 Bar; below that, it's hardly advisable to ride standard MTB tires. With PROCORE, this is a thing of the past: In the future, tire pressure can be controlled through dual chambers. The outer chamber has extremely low air pressure – optimal for maximum off-road performance. In the inner chamber, directly on the rim, the air pressure is high – even under maximum loads, pinch flats cannot reach the rim edge. At the same time, the inner high-pressure system secures the tire on the rim. "Burping," the dreaded air loss at low pressure in conventional tubeless systems, is eliminated.
