The Zebru baselayer is named after a mountain in the Ortler Alps, Monte Zebrù. It is made in Italy and the main ingredient of its material is superfine merino wool, which provides optimal thermal performance and moisture wicking and feels comfortable against the skin. The material wicks moisture away from the skin to the outside, dries quickly and improves thermal regulation - this has been scientifically proven. This makes the Zebru the ideal choice for intensive high mountain activities in cold weather.

FIR material technology

Our body mapping design helps you stay active longer while having more fun: We've combined merino wool and polyamide fibres with the smart synthetic yarns in our Responsive Technology. These yarns contain a unique blend of different thermoreactive minerals. Responsive absorbs the body's far infrared radiation (FIR) and gradually releases it back into the muscle tissue. The result: increased blood flow, higher cell performance and better oxygen supply. As a result, you stay warmer longer, perform better and recover faster. Good to know: Responsive is a permanent material component and does not wash out.

The Zebru long-sleeved shirt has a close-fitting sporty cut without elastane, and the polyamide content makes it particularly durable and keeps its shape. Thanks to our advanced circular knitting process, the entire upper body is made from one piece - for greater comfort without rubbing seams. And thanks to the high merino wool content (64%), the shirt also naturally counteracts odour build-up.
