The Ortles Ascent Mid Gore-Tex mountain boot is a solid solution for high alpine mountain tours. The upper material made of thick suede leather and the SALEWA 3F system with steel wires and reinforced edges make it particularly robust and durable. The stiff insole made of fiberglass and carbon fiber-reinforced nylon, along with the dual-density polyurethane midsole, ensures greater stability and comfortable wear. Additionally, the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) can be customized with interchangeable insoles, allowing for fine-tuning.

The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX Insulated Comfort membrane features an integrated insulation layer that keeps your feet pleasantly warm and dry in winter conditions in the mountains. The stretch gaiter on the tongue prevents snow from entering the shoe. For added performance during descents, the Flex Collar supports the flexion of the rear ankle, while the Ankle Protector System (APS) with its thermomolded material cuff provides extra support.

The Vibram Alpine Guide sole is designed for grip, durability, and reliability, ensuring precision and stability even on challenging terrain and in low temperatures. It can be combined with semi-automatic crampons. The profile features self-cleaning lugs for excellent grip and a toe profile designed for climbing, providing high edge performance.
