The Ortles Ascent Mid Gore-Tex® mountain boot is a solid solution for high alpine mountain tours. The upper material made of thick suede and the SALEWA® 3F system with steel wires and reinforced edge make it particularly robust and durable. The stiff insole made of glass fibre and carbon fibre reinforced nylon and the midsole made of double density polyurethane guarantee you more stability and pleasant comfort. In addition, the Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) can be customised with its interchangeable soles that allow you to fine-tune your fit.

The waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Insulated Comfort membrane has an integrated insulation layer that keeps your feet warm and dry in winter conditions in the mountains. And the stretch gaiter on the tongue prevents snow from entering the boot. For extra performance on the descent, the Flex Collar supports rear ankle flexion, while the Ankle Protector System (APS) with its cuff made of thermoformed material offers you extra support.

Designed for grip, durability and reliability, the Vibram® Alpine Guide sole ensures precision and stability even on challenging terrain and in low temperatures. It can be combined with semi-automatic crampons. The tread has self-cleaning tread lugs for excellent grip and a climbing designed toe profile for high edge performance.
