The Ruut model series was born out of the need for a truly versatile bike. One that is comfortable enough for backpacking and long-distance rides, yet has a distinctly sporty character. At Rondo, we are all competitive athletes - we ride fast, we race - but we don't need a bike for the CX World's. What we expect from a drop-bar bike is that it can ride long and fast, especially on rough roads. After over two years of development, we have created a tool that we believe is the ultimate solution for real-world riders. The RUUT AL1 is the most versatile bike in our collection. It is a hardcore commuter, training partner, adventure seeker, and cyclocross racer all in one. The RUUT AL1 features a lightweight yet incredibly sturdy frame for comfort on rough terrain, a bombproof drivetrain, and all the fenders, racks, and mounts a rider needs. The bike is equipped with a TwinTip 2.0 fork with FLY technology, which is lighter and stiffer and offers more compliance than our original fork. The internal cable routing provides a clean appearance. The versatile and reliable WTB Nano tires offer excellent grip on various terrains.
