The ASTR RS is a performance-oriented gravel bike specifically designed for modern gravel racing. This is evident in its groundbreaking tire clearance of 52 mm – a leading advancement in the category that anticipates the growing trend towards wider tires. Gravel races are becoming rougher, while riders are faster than ever before – this presents new demands on the bike. The ASTR RS also features aerodynamically optimized tube shapes and a fork with an integrated diffuser, based on our Aero-to-Weight study of the Falcn RS. The geometry instills confidence and ensures stability at high speeds (longer wheelbase, slacker head angle, lower bottom bracket). Riders need to conserve more energy during the race. Optimized aerodynamics, increased comfort, reduced rolling resistance from wider tires, and better climbing capabilities due to its lightweight design ensure that riders finish with more energy in the tank than their competitors.
