With a wider cut in the forefoot area, you get more space and therefore more comfort. Thanks to the use of microfiber as the upper material, the shoes do not stretch out but remain shape-stable. With a neutral last and medium tension, you can perform well both indoors and outdoors. The Red Chili RX1 sole provides sensitivity, durability, and edge stability, allowing you to tackle small and flat footholds with these climbing shoes.

Closure made of Technora Aramid

Is it a Velcro strap or lacing? You will probably hear this question a few times. Red Chili combines both in the Fusion II. This brings several advantages, as you can quickly adjust them on the go, your midfoot has a bit more room, and the closure is not as rigid as with conventional Velcro straps. Additionally, the climbing shoes earn a sustainability bonus with their closure, which is made from strong and abrasion-resistant fibers from Technora Aramid, leftover from the production of paragliders and now repurposed in the Fusion II. Under the closure, there is also a 3 mm thick neoprene tongue that provides more comfort and ensures even force distribution.
