Merino wool is ideal for base layers in cold weather. It can absorb moisture and effectively transports sweat away from the skin, ensuring comfort and regulating body temperature. It also provides excellent insulation when wet, although it may take some time to dry. The artificially produced synthetic fibers are durable, long-lasting, lightweight, and shape-retaining. They can also dry extremely quickly. This quick-drying, moisture-wicking, insulating, and durable material blend is perfect for mountain base layers.
