Yes, approval applies to weight while driving. See: https://dachzeltnomaden.com/2017/11/20/dachzelte-und-die-zulaessige-dachlast/
Hi! I have also read up on this and normal roof rails are sufficient, the tent actually fits on almost all cars except mini cars such as Smart etc. Hope I could help you
Please contact us via the Galaxus Assistant so that we can help you individually or contact the manufacturer.
Unfortunately, we do not offer spare parts for this. We therefore recommend that you enquire directly with the manufacturer.

All the information about the tent is correct in my experience - but I haven't measured it. The tent works perfectly and keeps its promise. Including the roof rack, which you have to attach underneath the tent, the tent is certainly about 10 cm higher than 27 cm when mounted on the roof. The only disadvantages for me: because I don't use a van or Landi but a car, the ladder is too long (it is then very slanted on the car) and the awning doesn't fit perfectly...but that's not because of the V8...I think the V8 is very cool and it's really fun to be on the road with it.
A tent must be waterproof! The water column is only a reference point: the tests to determine the water column resistance of the fabric are obviously NOT standardised. In short: the American requirements are stricter than the European ones. I have just found an interesting article on the subject here: https://www.camp4.de/blog/produkte/expertenwissen-zelte-wassersaeule/
