Is it really true that the height when closed is only 27cm? To be honest, I can't imagine that, because tents of the same construction (Pathfinder 2, Freespirit) are both approx. 38cm high when closed. Is this perhaps a printing error?

All the information about the tent is correct in my experience - but I haven't measured it. The tent works perfectly and keeps its promise. Including the roof rack, which you have to attach underneath the tent, the tent is certainly about 10 cm higher than 27 cm when mounted on the roof. The only disadvantages for me: because I don't use a van or Landi but a car, the ladder is too long (it is then very slanted on the car) and the awning doesn't fit perfectly...but that's not because of the V8...I think the V8 is very cool and it's really fun to be on the road with it.
