I used it without screws, and my wight is 80kg so it was ok. But be careful at the end part of paint from the door frame stick to the resin part.

90 cm it's not fixed, you can adjust I assume up to 10 cm from each side. I have to measure it

The rod is mounted or tensioned in the door frame by turning it, so it is not "fixed" but can be removed at any time. Accordingly, no additional brackets are necessary. Nevertheless, the rod holds without problems even with a weight of over 90 kg.
