The Elani Pull-up Bar for door frames is designed to be used on standard door frames, but it is important to note that it is typically suited for door frames made of sturdy materials such as metal or solid wood. For wood frames, it is generally compatible, but you should ensure that the wood is solid and sturdy enough to support the weight limit of the bar, which is usually around 100-150 kg depending on the specific model. However, it is not recommended for use on hollow or weak wood frames as it may not provide the necessary stability and safety.

Hello SankaMan. I think that if the door frame is stable in and of itself, i.e. not made of wood but of steel - as usual - then it should hold. Because the pull-up bar has an excellent anti-slip layer that really holds. I'm 80kg, do my pull-ups/exercises every day and we have a smooth, white surface, so we have to pull harder than on a rough surface (= plaster), and the bar doesn't slip. Zero, nothing, nada. In short: I can recommend it to you! :-)

Unfortunately, I couldn't find any information on Elani's website about where the company manufactures its pull-up bars. However, I can assume that they are manufactured in Germany. This is because Elani is a German company and many products are made in Germany. MfG Anton

Didn't damage mine either. I have wooden door frames. The pads on the ends have a nicely large surface area which both spread the load (so they leave no imprints) and make sure they are nice and secure as you hang on them.
