Abus Bordo Granite X-Plus 6500
110 cm
Bike mount incl fixing material are included
I would take the larger version. It's a bit heavier but you can attach the bike better.
Here is the white version of the article: https://www.galaxus.ch/fr/s3/product/abus-bordo-granit-x-plus-6500-85cm-antivols-pour-velo-5883258.
The manufacturer's number we gave was still an outdated one. However, we have now adjusted the manufacturer's number. We would like to thank you for the information.
I had clarified this with Abus in the past. Unfortunately, this combination is not possible via Galaxus. You have to order directly from Abus and provide the key details of the bike when ordering.
Hello, It's perfectly possible. I drilled two holes in the bracket, screwed it in place of the bottle holder and it fits perfectly. I arranged for the holder to rest on the bottom of the frame, because the shape of my bike allows it. Psychologically it takes some of the weight, but it's probably not necessary. I've also cut the 'arms' for the straps without regret. Have a good ride
Thanks for the tip, we will add it. It would otherwise be available here from the manufacturer: https://mobil.abus.com/ch_de/Privat/Themenwelten-Highlights/One-Key-Option/One-Key-Schluesseltypen/OneKey-XPlus/BORDO-GRANIT-XPlus-6500-110-schwarz-Halter-SH
The 110 cm version cannot be screwed on where the bottle cage would be. It must be strapped on with the fastening elements supplied. The width of the lock is not a problem between the legs, regardless of the frame.
Hello, The total height is 242-243mm with the bracket. It comes out of the bracket from the front, so you don't need much extra height to install it. The 6cm Helmut is talking about is more about thickness. But maybe it's a German/French translation problem 🤔 Best regards
The 110 cm version is a good choice, because you need a certain length to be able to attach the bike to a post or similar. Another advantage is that the Bordo 6500/110 is very compact when folded up for riding. However, given the thickness of the links, it's less manoeuvrable than a cable. I don't see the possibility of using the same ABUS key as the one supplied with the electric bike. Probably only ABUS could answer your question.
The holder is only intended for transporting the lock. When you park the bike somewhere, you take the lock out of the holder and lock the bike with it.
The heaviest version is only strapped. The shorter and thus the lighter version can be fixed with screws. That is what written in manual
The only information we have is that the lock can be removed from the front of the holder without the use of tools and with clamping strips.
No. Is not provided
This question would have to be addressed to the manufacturer, I guess.
Yes, just take it out of the holder, but it is firmly attached to the bike.
So it doesn't come with a bag, but it does come with a holder with adjustable straps for attaching it to the bike or a tube.
Yes, the bracket is included
Yes, it is included with screws and various holes, and fits securely on any frame where a drink holder can also be mounted.
Hello Michael I think so. The locking mechanism is in the head and independent of the end piece. Therefore, it is not necessary to use locks that lock the same way. However, the structure will be quite heavy!
I would also be interested in this....., unfortunately I don't know.
Yes, is included in the scope of delivery 👍🏽
Yes, the holder is included and is quite good (does not rattle). Important: The holder cannot be mounted on the water bottle holes, but is clamped to the frame via two supplied clamps.
