The AIRSAFE jackets provide you with the elegance and safety you need for your competitions (with the AIRSAFE competition jacket) or during training (with the sleeveless softshell jackets or vests). Their airbag lining has been specially developed by Privilège Equitation to protect you in the event of a fall (neck, spine, coccyx, chest, pelvis). The designs of the AIRSAFE jackets and the extreme elasticity of the fabrics are designed to ensure that the airbag inflates optimally within 0.123 seconds (up to 0.01 or 0.02 seconds, depending on weather conditions, pressure, temperature, etc.), while the average time between the moment the rider is thrown off and ground contact during a fall is about 2 seconds – so the jacket will deploy before hitting the ground! Traditionally, the jacket is secured to the saddle with two straps: the first strap attaches to the stirrup leather and has a ring in the middle. A second strap is connected to a compressed air cartridge, which in turn is linked to the first strap via a carabiner. The AIRSAFE lining fits all jackets in the AIRSAFE range, so you can use it with either the competition jackets or the sleeveless softshell jacket or vest! The trigger is routed through a very discreet slit in the jacket and is secured to the saddle in a traditional manner. The AIRSAFE lining is attached to the jacket with 2 zippers at the front and 5 snap buttons around the neck. The jacket closes with a zipper.
