PE interchangeable eyelets are compatible with all Premier Equine saddles, except racing saddles.

We understand that various factors can affect your horse, such as health, fitness, exercise regime, age, and condition. These factors can contribute to changes in the horse's shape, which means you may need to re-evaluate your saddle fit. To ensure optimal comfort for your horse, it is important to regularly evaluate the fit of your saddle.

We recommend purchasing the PE Gullet Gauge to guide you in determining the correct size of your horse's gullet for your Premier Equine saddle. We also recommend seeking the advice of a professional saddler.

How to change your PE interchangeable gullet:
Step 1: Unscrew the two screws located under the saddle skirt in the gullet area.
Step 2: Place your hands on the front of the panel and pull down. This will release the ends of the saddle tree from the panel pockets.
Step 3: Open the Velcro closure on the gullet bar.
Step 4: Unscrew the two screws on either side of the gullet bar to release it from the saddle bar.
Step 5: Change the gullet bar to the desired size, slowly tightening the screws on both ends until the gullet fits properly. Make sure the holes are aligned and the screws are secure.
We recommend using the PE Neck Gauge and consulting an expert saddler to help you select the best neck size for your horse.
Step 6: Replace the pommels into the panel pockets by manipulating them into position and close the Velcro closure to cover the gullet.
Step 7: Don't forget to tighten the last screws in the esophagus area. Ensure the screws are properly aligned in the holes before tightening them.

Your saddle is now ready for use.
