POC Skull Dura Comp MIPS Ski Helmet - Hydrogen White
The Skull Dura Comp MIPS features a new race-fit adjustment system. With this innovative system, ski racers can secure the helmet closely to their head, ensuring a perfect fit even at high speeds typical in professional racing. The adjustment dial is integrated into the helmet shell to avoid interfering with the racing position. The inner shell is designed to evenly wrap around the entire head without creating pressure points. The Fidlock buckle on the chin strap can be easily operated with gloves, ensuring a secure fit. The helmet is certified according to FIS standard RH 2013. A VPD panel protects against repeated impacts, while an Aramid-reinforced penetration protection and a multi-impact EPP inner shell make this helmet an ideal choice for racing. The ear pads can be removed in case of emergency, allowing for safe removal of the helmet by a doctor in the event of an injury.
Junior Regulations: Most ski clubs recommend wearing a FIS-certified helmet starting from the U12 racing category, as it is possible to compete in a higher category. Officially, according to the Swiss Ski Association, this requirement begins at the U14 racing class.
