The Octal X MIPS takes the award-winning Octal road helmet to a new level, optimizing it for the needs of gravel bike and cyclocross riders. With an expanded outer shell that covers a larger portion of the inner helmet compared to the Octal, the Octal X MIPS benefits from higher strength properties with only a minimal increase in weight. Like the Octal, it impresses with extreme airflow, aerodynamic efficiency, a fully wrapped one-piece shell, an EPS liner, and POC's proven aramid fiber-reinforced helmet bridge for added strength and penetration protection. These features are part of our holistic helmet concept, ensuring our helmets provide the perfect mix of comfort, reliability, and performance. Thanks to MIPS, the helmet also offers improved rotational impact protection.
