The Octal X Mips takes the award-winning Octal road helmet to a new level and optimises it for the needs of gravel bike and cyclocross riders. With an extended outer shell that covers a larger part of the inner helmet than the Octal, the Octal X Mips benefits from higher strength properties with only a minimal increase in weight. Like the Octal, it boasts extreme air permeability, aerodynamic efficiency, a fully wraparound one-piece shell and EPS insert, as well as POC's proven aramid fibre-reinforced helmet bridge for added strength and penetration protection. These features are part of our holistic helmet concept to ensure that our helmets offer the perfect mix of comfort, reliability and performance. Thanks to Mips, the helmet also offers improved rotational impact protection.
