Product details
Compact, lightweight, and thoughtfully designed for via ferrata. The Scorpio Vertigo SW from Petzl is a via ferrata set for those who value low weight and ease of use. The ultra-compact energy absorber not only saves space on the harness but also provides greater freedom of movement – a real advantage, especially in tight passages or on long tours. The elastic arms adapt flexibly and make it easier to switch onto the cable. The integrated swivel prevents the elastic strands from twisting while climbing. Particularly practical: the short additional strand allows you to pause comfortably – ideal for when you need a quick breather.
Safe handling even with gloves. The Vertigo Wire-Lock carabiners fit comfortably in the hand with their ergonomic shape and can be reliably operated even with gloves. The automatic locking system with a 2-way opening provides extra safety without the need for fiddling when attaching or detaching. The large gate opening simplifies handling, and thanks to the Keylock system, the carabiner won't snag when switching – saving you nerves and time.
The Scorpio Vertigo SW accommodates a wide target audience with a user weight of approximately 40 to 120 kg.
All product advantages at a glance:
- Compact energy absorber for more freedom of movement on the harness
- Ergonomic carabiners with automatic locking
- Integrated swivel prevents twisting of the strands
- For body weights of 40-120 kg.
